Charity Golf Classic A Success!

Walters Management held its first Charity Golf Classic on Oct. 5, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn to benefit Monarch School, a school for homeless children. Despite the rainy day, 136 participants came out to support the cause. and more than $25,000 was raised for Monarch School.

The day started with a putting contest followed by lunch. The 34 foursomes were then off to the links for a round of golf. The day of golf was followed by dinner, a raffle and silent auction.

Walters Management would like to recognize our major sponsors including Pacific Properties Service; Epsten, Grinnell & Howell, APC; and O’Connell Landscape Maintenance. Without their generous support, the tournament would not have been such a great success. We would also like to thank our contest sponsors Berg Insurance, Tierra Verde, MSE Landscape and Rescom. Walters is hopeful to continue the Charity Golf Classic as a way of giving back to the community.
