Joseph Farinelli
President and Owner
PCAM®, CPM®, CCAM®
President Joseph Farinelli has been a leader in the community and property management industry for more than 30 years. With experience in apartment management and commercial portfolios, Mr. Farinelli has honed his specialization in community association management where his attention has been for the past 25 years. With Walters Management, he is responsible for overall performance and operations with a focus on company growth.
He has obtained the Community Associations Institute® prestigious industry credential of Professional Community Association Manager®, Institute of Real Estate Management® credential of Certified Property Manager® and the California Association of Community ManagersSM certification as a Certified Community Association Manager®.
Mr. Farinelli's commitment to improving the industry has been applauded numerous times by the San Diego Chapter of CAI® as he has been the recipient of its 2005 Recruiter of the Year Award, 2002 President's Award and 2000 Speaker of the Year Award. He has previously served on the Professional Standards Committee and Board of Directors for the California Association of Community ManagersSM as well as the Association of Professional Community Managers Board. He also was part of the national faculty for CAI®.
Originally from Los Angeles, Mr. Farinelli is the father of five and one grandson. Mr. Farinelli is a graduate of San Diego State University. |

John Alioto
Chairman and Owner
CPM®, CCAM®
John Alioto is the chairman and a founding partner of Walters Management. He brings to the team more than 40 years of experience in the property management industry and extensive knowledge of the history and development of San Diego. As chairman of the company, he works with the executive team to develop company strategies, client relations and marketing.
He is a Certified Property Manager® and a Certified Community Association Manager®; certifications given by Institute of Real Estate Management® and the California Association of Community ManagersSM, respectively. He is the past president of both the California Apartment Association and the San Diego County Apartment Association and is also a past president of the Institute of Real Estate Management®, San Diego Chapter, as well as a past governing Councilor for IREM® National.
He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the San Diego County Apartment Association and the Distinguished Presidential Award by IREM® for outstanding service and leadership to the industry.
Mr. Alioto has been an instructor of real estate management for IREM® and UCSD Extension. He is also affiliated with the National and California Association of Realtors, the San Diego Board of Realtors, Community Associations Institute®, California Association of Community ManagersSM and Rotary International. Mr. Alioto is a graduate of the University of San Diego. |

Anthony B. Burzo
Senior Vice President

Anthony Burzo is a senior vice president with Walters Management and has operation and oversight responsibilities of the company's community management teams in San Diego, Carlsbad and Murrieta. During the past 21 years, he has demonstrated his strong leadership skills while being involved in all facets of community management, with an emphasis on large master-planned communities. He has served in executive level positions for the majority of his career and currently serves with other senior leaders on the company's Executive Committee. He has obtained the Community Associations Institute® prestigious industry credential of Professional Community Association Manager® and the California Association of Community ManagersSM certification as a Certified Community Association Manager®.
As a leader in the community association industry, Mr. Burzo tasks himself with staying on top of trends and government legislation that affects the industry. He brings these insights to the Walters' team as well as shares them with the larger professional community through published articles in industry publications. He also is actively involved in the Community Associations Institute® and California Association of Community ManagersSM. Mr. Burzo holds a degree from California State University Hayward. |

Melinda Young
Senior Vice President
Melinda Young is a senior vice president and brings nearly 30 years of professional management experience with more than 150 associations to our executive staff. Specializing in manager training and client relations, Ms. Young is responsible for the operation and oversight of the community management team in Chula Vista. Ms. Young also provides consulting services to builder and developer clients as well as Board of Director orientations.
She has obtained the California Association of Community ManagersSM certification as a Certified Community Association Manager® as well as the Community Associations Institute® prestigious industry credential of Professional Community Association Manager®.
Ms. Young earned the CAI® President's Award in 1996 and 2000. In addition to being named its Committee Chairperson of the Year in 1999 and Author of the Year in 2004, she also received the CAI®'s Samuel L. Dolnick Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001. She is past president of the San Diego Chapter of CAI® where she was on the Board of Directors for more than ten years. She currently serves as the vice chair of the California Association of Community ManagerSM Board of Directors; and has served on the Board for the past three years. Melinda also serves on CACMSM’s FacultySM, teaching core CACMSM classes and is a regular contributor to its publications. |

Bill Beasley
Senior Vice President
Bill Beasley is a senior vice president responsible for the accounting department and development of new business systems with a focus on improving the availability of information for property managers, Board of Directors and homeowners. Over the course of his seven years in the community management industry, Mr. Beasley has ushered in the advancement of technology in order to improve management efficiency, which in turn has the added benefit of raising the overall level of customer service.
With Walters, he was instrumental in the implementation of a comprehensive online property management software system that is one of the most advanced in the industry and allows for the collection and sharing of community association data and custom reports almost instantly.
He holds a degree from Western Connecticut State University. |

Susan Corrales
Chief Financial Officer
Officer
Susan Corrales has been a part of the Walters Management senior management team as its Chief Financial Officer since 2002. Responsible for maintaining the company's solid financial health, Ms. Corrales oversees all aspects of corporate accounting including controller duties, treasury duties, economic strategy and forecasting. She holds an MBA from San Diego State University and received her CPA license in 1986. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. |
